Drive-In feat. Kate Upton (Director’s Cut) / Racy Carl’s Jr. Commercial

Here’s the extended director’s cut of the volcanic commercial promoting the Carl’s Jr. Southwest Patty Melt featuring 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model, Kate Upton. The fast food franchise lays it on thick with this overtly sexual commercial which was directed by Chris Applebaum. Applebaum has handled the bulk of the Carl’s Jr. sexy campaigns; commercials that have featured the likes of Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and Padma Lakshmi.
It’s always been difficult for me to get revved up for the commercials with these sexpots brandishing sloppy, dripping burgers. It reminded me of George Costanza’s boudoir pastrami fetish. It’s all too familiar and weird. Awkward.
But I can’t deny the heat of young Upton in this ad. It’s too hot for TV. Too hot for me. It’s hard to believe that the hottest women on the planet is only 19 years old. Yeah, Creep, that’s right, girlfriend can’t even legally drink inside of a bar. Is it me or are girls developing quicker these days? Kate Upton is mature for her age. Ahem. Seems like it was just yesterday when young Kate was teaching us how to Dougie.
Nuclear. Fuh. (proceeds to pound head into keyboard)
