Ink Master contestant Ryan Hadley recently passed away at the age of 46 after losing his battle with Seminoma Cancer. His family announced his passing news via Instagram on June 20, 2024.
Just two days before his demise, a post on his Instagram asking for donations was uploaded. The post said, “Ryan would like to thank everyone for their support over the years…His family is currently taking donations to help pay for end-of-life expenses.”
As Ryan’s daughter Whitney Hadley-Salay mentioned at GoFundMe, the donation his family is collecting will not only be used for his funeral service but also to raise his other children, ages 2 to 11.
Well, the GoFundMe was also organized previously for his cancer treatment, mentioning that ‘Ryan is going through aggressive treatment for seminoma, he’s unable to work to keep his business and family afloat.’
In the meantime, his family has to rely on donations for his after-life ritual, indicating that Ryan Hadley has zero net worth.
Whatever his financial condition was in his latter days, Ryan Hadley must have earned decent money as a Tattoo artist
As mentioned in his April 25 Instagram post, Ryan Hadley worked as a tattoo artist for 25 years. According to sources, tattoo artists in Indiana earn an average of $44,083 annually.
In that case, Ryan must have accumulated around $1 million in over two decades of his tattoo career. Furthermore, he owned a tattoo and art gallery in Indiana, meaning the given amount was obvious.
Likewise, Ryan had also added extra money to his bank account by participating as a contestant in a reality show, Ink Master, season 6.
But all his earnings through his profession must have assisted him and his family sustain their daily expenses. That’s why when doctors diagnosed him with Seminoma cancer, he requested his Instagram family to donate for him for his treatment on December 20, 2023.

At the time of his demise, Ryan Hadley was together with his wife, Sinja Hadley, with whom he tied the knot in 2013. The couple were parents to their 5 children, including his sons Grayson, Havoc, and Dagon, and a daughter, Harlow Olivia Hadley, born in September 2021.
Further, Ryan first-born child is Whitney Hadley Salay, whom he had with his ex-partner April West.
The owner of the Hare & Thyme collection, Whitney, stood as a backbone to her father, Ryan, during his struggle with cancer, managing all the donations that came for him through GoFundMe.
On June 22, Whitney shared an emotional post on her Facebook, mentioning that her dad Ryan passed away. She wrote, “My dad wanted to leave his mark on the world with his twisted creativity and he did…Love you dad – you got your legacy.”
