The Memphis influencer Catreisa Johnson is receiving people’s sympathy and condolences as she passed away on June 23, 2024, in hospital, according to her friend, Crystal Cmoney Sterling, which was further confirmed by her sisters’ Facebook tribute.
Catreisa Johnson was a social media influencer and TkTok star famous for her comedy. She had over 88K followers on TikTok and liked posting videos with her nephews.
However, the star is no more among us, and all of Catreisa Johnson’s friends and family are asking to keep her in their prayers as they try to cope with the death news.
It was known to her followers that Catreisa was not always in good health because she was surviving on one kidney, as she mentioned in her videos.
Thus, many have showered genuine condolences to the influencer, while some are using her by calling her their family or friends for clout.
Catreisa Johnson had a history of to and fro with the hospital
The recent death news about Catreisa Johnson was confirmed by her sisters Savage-Dior Johnson, Isaaca Mariah Brown, and Kway Janee, who are younger than her.
Catreisa Johnson was born to parents, mother Martini Johnson and father, whose details remain secret, in Memphis, Tennessee.
According to her fans, the daughter-mother relationship was unhealthy, as they often blamed her mother for not taking better care of her.
This became evident when Catreisa became an addict and had to go to the hospital when she was already suffering from certain health conditions.
It was in August 2020 when a video of her asking for forgiveness went viral. In the video, Catreisa asks for forgiveness from everyone as it was her fourth time in the chemical sniffing, and this time, it cost Catreisa her life.
Afterward, she also showed her hospital band to prove she was not lying and promised not to do so again.
Later, in 2022, she again had to go to the hospital for being in critical condition, and her mother Martini was looking for her; it seems she ran off from home at the time.
Then came the recent hospitalization news, which, according to Facebook’s timeline, seemingly started in November 2023.
None of the fans knew, until Catreisa posted a video wearing her hospital gown, in which she said she recently recovered from a coma on February 2, 2024.
However, Catreisa Johnson’s condition worsened, and she passed away due to kidney failure in hospital on June 23, 2024.
