Mariah The Scientist is the daughter of two black parents, native of Atlanta, where the singer was born. She grew up in Southwest Atlanta and later moved to Eastside.
She graduated from Southwest DeKalb High School at 16 but never experienced her senior year.
Later, she joined St. John’s University in New York with the plan to become an anesthesiologist but dropped out in her third year to pursue music and moved to Miami.
