In the video, James Wells says it has been an honor to be her boyfriend and that he cannot wait to take their relationship to the next level.
He said, “It has been awesome, and I am very excited to see where this is going. So, dear, I was wondering, Lillia Camille King, will you marry me?” Lily emotionally accepted his proposal, saying, “Yes, yes, yes.“

Two-time Olympian Lily King and James Wells started dating around 2020 or 2021, as James revealed in his proposal that they had been together for the last four years.
Further, Lily and James have a five-year age gap, as they are 27 and 32 in 2024, respectively.
