Joshua Pippens shared footage through his Instagram where he was allegedly attacked by his stepson Romeo, aka Jerome Harris Jr., who is supposed to be protecting his mother.
On the July 7th Post, Joshua Pippens, with the video, stated, “he grabbed my gun off my hip following his moms lead and tried to shoot me and then actually shot me.”
Since the incident occurred on July 1, 2024, Joshua Pippens has shared several updates through his social media platform.
Furthermore, a document from the Indiana Department of Child Service shared by Pippens on his Instagram includes the details about the incident.
The document reveals how Romeo’s mother, Travonna Collier, and Joshua Pippens’s aggressive fight led him to take action to protect his mother.
The 10-year-old boy also stated how his mothers get mad easily and how Joshua and Travonna showed damaging behavior in the past.
Moreover, Seeing the vulnerable condition of the children and protecting them from domestic violence, the Indiana Department of Child Service recommended the removal of Romeo, aka Jerome, and two other children from the mother, Travonna’s care and custody.
It is also recommended that Lil Durk, Romeo’s biological father, and Joshua Pippens be allowed to visit him unsupervised.
