Jake Evans’ father, Darryl Evans, denied his son’s bail after he pleaded guilty in his mother and sister’s homicide

In 2012, the 17-year-old Jake Evans made the shocking confession to 911 that he slaughtered his mother, Jami Diane Evans, and his sister, Mallory Anne Evans, in his home in Aledo, Texas.

After that, officials arrested Jake, but later, the courts set a bail amount of $750,000 for him. But his father, Darryl Evans, refused to pay the bonding amount, saying that Jake has no money of his own and would not pay the bonding amount even if he could afford it, NBC reports.

In the meantime, it appeared like Darryl was resentful towards the culprit of his wife and daughter, even though he was his own son.

However, as Prosecutor Robert Duboise stated in 2015, Darryl and his other family members finally forgave Jake for whatever he did. In this regard, Robert said, “What that really tells you is the absolute power of forgiveness of this family… they’ve forgiven him to a depth that should inspire everybody in this case.“

While Jake Evans is currently serving a sentence, where is his father, Darryl Evans?

In 2015, a Parker County courtroom verdict handed Jake Evans 45 years of prison, which his family members, including his father Darryl, considered ‘a fair plea bargain, under all circumstances.’

However, according to reports, Jake ‘will be eligible for parole’ after serving half his sentence period.

Well, in this case, he is currently in prison for enacting such an evil action within his family.
