On July 3, 2024, the famous YouTuber and Twitch streamer YourRAGE, real name Josh, injured his right eye while chopping wood during a live stream.
The live video, which has gone viral since, showed the YourRAGE chopping the wood in the night while the axe unexpectedly bounced back, and its handle struck him in his eyes.
The 26-year-old, who was bleeding heavily, cried out for help, and the video showed lost connections.
Later, fans updated his health status, claiming YourRAGE is currently unable to see due to his eye injury.

Four days after his eye injury, YourRAGE uploaded a new YouTube video, titled “I can’t see,” on July 7, 2024, in which he explained his health condition in depth.
According to the ophthalmologist, the accident had caused a lot of inflammation in his cornea, which led to severe damage to his retina and optical nerve.
However, there is little hope left as the accident did not damage his eye “100%, just GGs to your eyeball,” and if he is lucky enough, he will get back to normal condition soon.
Now, all he had left was praying to god and following doctors’ prescriptions regularly.
Overall, his current eye condition is worse, and he confirmed it will take much time to heal.
Further, he also mentioned that the doctor had prescribed him crazy medication, including five different bottles of eye drops, which, if he did not regularly follow, his eye would be ‘cooked.’
He said, “So I ain’t missing a single hour, I’m taking my s**t very diligently. I got a check-up in another week.“
If YourRAGE continuously follows the prescription, his vision will slowly come back day by day, as per the doctor.
