UK’s most prominent far-right activist, Tommy Robinson, was recently arrested and detained by Canadian immigration under an “outstanding immigration warrant” on June 25, 2024, claiming his stay was illegal.
This incident just added another jail time to his list, as Robinson already had four prison stints under his profile for various allegations from 2005 to 2019.
In 2005, he served his first prison sentence of 12 months on assault charges against an off-duty police officer. It was when the officer tried to stop an argument between Robinson and his wife and then-girlfriend Jenna Vowles.

Talking about the penalties and fines Robinson paid for various allegations. His initial fine was £3000 in 2011, which later increased to £20,000 in 2016.
Eventually, the court asked him to pay £100,000 plus legal costs after he had libeled a Muslim boy in 2021, which added up to £500,000.
Robinson declared himself bankrupt at this time, owing around £1.5 million to the boy and other creditors. Yet, he discharged himself from bankruptcy in 2022, as he had millions in donations.
Tommy Robinson still had £3 million worth of assets from property, donations, and books sale
The famous British political advisor and activist Tommy Robinson was born Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon on November 27, 1982, in Luton, England.
He had two fathers, as his stepfather Thomas Lennon adopted him when he was two years old after his biological father left him. Thus, the double-barrelled surname.
Tommy Robinson.. like him or loathe him how can you argue with his stance on children. Like with most parents he has clearly drawn a line in the sand. Leave the kids alone. Repeat leave the kids alone… pic.twitter.com/CuwCAVK4el

Many claimed Robinson’s nature evolved from childhood as he was always interested in politics around his hometown.
His area was a turf for the extremist al-Muhajiroun network, and he always thought police were doing little to combat the Islamic threat.
Gradually, Robinson became an anti-Islamic campaigner. His views started receiving attention from global networks, and donations started pouring in from think tanks, totaling £2 million alone in 2018.
Also, during his bankruptcy in 2021, the campaign group Hope Not Hate searched for Robinson’s hidden assets. After considering his properties, book sales, and investments, they claimed Tommy Robinson had a £3 million net worth.

Moreover, Tommy Robinson had a large detached house in Bedfordshire under his wife, Jenna Vowles Lennon. It was worth £705,000 when she bought it in November 2020 with a mortgage.
According to the current evaluation, the house alone might be worth £1.2 million. So, after adding all his assets, Tommy Robinson’s net worth might be over £1.5 million.
Bankruptcy followed Tommy Robinson after divorcing his wife, Jenna Vowles
