Ari Naftali Melber, aka Ari Melber, is a renowned attorney, writer, and Emmy-winning journalist from Washington.

Recently, on May 4, 2024, Melber took to Instagram to post the show’s April 2024 Nielsen rating.

In the post, Nielsen confirmed that The Beat bested all of CNN’s total audience and demo ratings in April 2024, with an average of 1.59 million views per night.

Similarly, on March 26, he also uploaded a SEMAFOR post mentioning that The Beat had crossed 1.5 billion views on YouTube.

As the post states, the average clip has 500,000 views, which is certainly a good engagement by any measure of YouTube success.

Moreover, The New York Post also released an article commenting on the show’s astonishing progress.

The New York Post confirmed through the article that in January 2023, MSNBC’s legal affairs program, The Beat with Ari Melber, outranked every other show on the channel.

They also reported, “The first time in the network’s 27 years that a show outside the prime-time window of 8 to 11 p.m. took top honors.

In 2020, The Beat was nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Interview.
