That B.E.A.T. is a short documentary focused on bounce music, a sound that’s been coming out of New Orleans since the early 1990s. The documentary focuses on it’s evolution, the movement of the underground culture and the acceptance of the LGBT community. It features performers such as Katey RedBig FreediaNicky Da B and many more. The film was directed by Abteen Bagheri, produced by Tash Tan and Brooke DeVard Smith, with cinematography by Isaac Bauman.
