Tezlyn Figaro has been serving as a senior consultant for Attorney Benjamin Crump since 2015.
As an outstanding consultant and strategist, Tezlyn has contributed her knowledge and skills in communications and public relations to some of the Ben Crump Law Firm’s high-profile clients, including Oklahoma City officer Daniel Holtzclaw’s Trial, Monroe Bird III’s Civil Case, George Floyd’s Case, and the Breonna Taylor Case.

Tezlyn Figaro and her parents experienced the tragic loss of her infant brother
Growing up in a bad environment surrounded by gangs and substances, Tezlyn and her family suffered a lot, including the demise of her infant brother.
In a podcast titled The Positive Populist, Tezlyn revealed her struggles growing up in Oklahoma City.
She stated that her parents were lovers in high school, but their marriage ended in divorce when Figaro was 3 or 4 years old.
Figaro further said her father couldn’t handle the pain of the divorce and the loss of his 3-month-old son, which made him lose his job and get addicted to alcohol.
She also added that she has gone through a divorce and several relocations and faced assault where a guy from a school hit her in the face for not going out with him.
Nevertheless, Tezlyn Figaro believes her mother holds a huge place in her life. Her mother was a news director’s assistant for News 4 and a cosmetologist.
Figaro’s mother also worked as a real estate agent on weekends. She was a hustler, and watching her do things on her own inspired Tezlyn to become an independent and successful woman.
