Impact World Championship wrestler Tessa Blanchard is rumored to return to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling after ending her career there in 2020.
The 28-year-old professional wrestler’s career had a significant dropout after her fellow wrestler accused her of being racist.
Her accusation marked a significant setback for her career, leading to hate and failure.
Subsequently, Impact Wrestling terminated Blanchard’s contract in 2020 to avoid further reputation damage.
After resigning from the team, her career opportunities were limited, and she needed a better platform to showcase her talent.
Fellow wrestles bullying and racism allegations lowered Tessa Blanchard’s reputation in the market
The racial controversies of Tessa Blanchard occurred in early 2020 when multiple female wrestlers came forward accusing Tessa of bullying and displaying discriminatory behavior.
Further, the accusation includes Tessa behaving poorly to her fellow wrestlers, particularly women of color.
Similarly, Puerto Rico wrestler Black Rose confirmed that Tessa, spitting in a black woman’s face in Japan, hurled a racial slur at her and called her the N-word.
However, despite all these controversies, Tessa Blanchard denies all the accusations, and no concrete evidence supports their statement.
In April 2023, Wertilign News tweeted that La Rosa Negra, one of the accusers, and Tessa had worked things out and again became good friends.
On the other hand, after TNA cut her off due to racial controversies, she started working for CMLL in Mexico.
However, after four years, as reported by Sportster, preliminary discussions have taken place at TNA about potentially bringing Tessa Blanchard back to the promotion.
The team unexpectedly thought Tessa Blanchard deserved a second chance, so they may soon bring the champion back to the team.
