Some days back, meteorologist Meaghan Thomas took to her Instagram to declare that her last day serving at News 2 will be May 31st. She expressed her gratitude to her audience and briefed them that it was not a permanent goodbye.

In the commentary section, her audience displayed mixed emotions about her departure announcement. The majority of the audience wished her the best for her future endeavors and congratulated her, saying, ” So happy for you!!!!! I cannot wait to see you fly high!!!!!

At the same time, people displayed their eagerness to know if Meaghan Thomas was going to join another station or if there was something else.

Meanwhile, Meaghan hasn’t openly talked about her next move. But don’t worry—she will disclose it very soon, as she stated, “As for what’s next, stay tuned! ILY ALL 🫶🏼,” in her announcement post.

Meteorologist Meaghan Thomas hinted at moving out of Tennessee!

While interacting with her colleague about leaving News 2, Meaghan Thomas fondly talked about Tennessee and stated that the state has been so lovely not only for her but also for her family.

She also discussed how Tennessee is significant to her, referring to the fact that her non-profit organization, The Heart of Hearing, which she founded in December 2021, is also located here in Nashville, TN.

The award-winning meteorologist further stated that she would be traveling back and forth as her cousins and uncles still reside in Rutherford County. This clearly hints that Meaghan Thomas is going somewhere outside Tennessee.

She also had signaled toward leaving Tennessee in her bittersweet announcement, saying, “how about a “see ya later.” As you know, my nonprofit, The Heart of Hearing is based out of Tennessee so I will be back a lot!

But still, until Meaghan Thomas doesn’t clearly address where she is going, it will be a matter of interest.
