Florida Panthers’s Matthew Tkachuk got engaged to his girlfriend, Ellie Connell, in 2024

The 26-year-old American professional ice hockey player Matthew Tkachuk got engaged to his girlfriend, Ellie Connell, in April 2024.

Their engagement news was announced by David R., host of the FLA Cats Hockey Podcast, on his official Twitter account on April 19, 2024.

In the post, he congratulated the couple with the photos of Matthew Tkachuk proposing to his girlfriend, Ellie Connell, on the yacht.

Further, he also wrote, “Matthew just can’t stop winning,” referring to victories in his ice hockey career.

After the victory, Matthew Tkachuk, the alternate captain for the Florida Panthers, holds the huge Stanley Cup and starts showing it to his fans’ families while surrounding the rink.

His whole family, including his father, Keith Matthew Tkachuk, mother, Chantal Oster, and brother, Brady Tkachuk, and sister, Taryn Tkachuk, had come to support his game.

After he finally won the cup, his father, Keith, who is a former professional ice hockey player, got emotional as he appeared, wiping his tears in the crowd.

Further, during the interview after the game, the former NHL player stated, “This is a journey that starts with family, and I am so grateful to have the best family in the world.“

At last, he appreciated his fiancee, brother, sister, father, and mother for their support and gave a shout-out to his family in Boston and the family in Ontario.
