On her 23rd birthday on June 4, 2024, Limerick resident Nicole Morey passed away after dogs fatally attacked her at her home in Ballyneety. Reports suggest that the dogs that mauled her to the situation of losing her life were owned by her and her partner.
Well, 23-year-old Nicole Morey was head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Ian. She often used to flaunt him on her social media handle.
On October 25, 2022, she shared an intimate post with her partner wishing him a happy birthday and wrote, “We’ve been true the wars and backs and still as strong ever. I love you,” with multiple red heart emojis.
However, her last Facebook post with her lover was in December 2022, in which she wished everyone a Merry Christmas.

A couple of years back, Nicole Morey often used to express her intense feelings for her partner on her social media.
Sharing the couple’s picture, Nicole once wrote, “My rock through everything even when we feel like digging each others heads in.”
Well, now Nicole Morey is no longer alive. At such a young age, she lost her life in a tragic incident which her family never had even expected. Post her passing, her sister Jolene Morey posted a heartbreaking post mentioning that she couldn’t believe what happened within a second.
Jolene apologized to her late sister for being unable to save her and expressed her love for her. She further mentioned that whatever happened with Nicole and the family just felt like a bad dream.
Meanwhile, her grandparents, Patrick O’Donnell Sr. and Marie Morey, parents Lisa and Patrick, and step-parents Joseph and Nicola survived Nicole Morey.
