Jack Patrick Russell, the American rock vocalist and founding member of the band Great White, recently passed away at 63, leaving behind an estimated net worth of $10 million.
Born in Montebello, California, Jack Russell grew up with influences such as Robert Plant and Steven Tyler, becoming a vocalist for several high school bands.
Later, he met Mark Kendall at a concert and formed a band called Dante Fox, but they changed the name to Great White, as it was Kendall’s nickname after his white hair and light complexion.

From 1981 to 1996, Jack was with the Great White before taking some time off to release his first solo album, Shelter Me, and rejoined the band until they officially broke up.
Since then, the vocalist has tried to carry on the band’s legacy with the album For You, which ultimately led to the band’s reformation with its classical lineup.
Moreover, Jack played a considerable role in the band. He released several albums, including The Final Cuts, Revisiting Familiar Waters, Once Bitten, Twice Live, and Rock Me: The Best of Great White.
With such a diverse portfolio, it is no surprise that Jack could accumulate a net worth of $10 million before his untimely demise.
Jack Russell also received extra income from his Great White merch and Road Starz of Rock podcast!
In addition to his musical career, Jack Russell worked with several other artists, including Michael Romeo, Jeff Baxter, Bruce Kulick, Herman Rareball, and George Lynch.
Until his retirement in January 2024, the vocalist worked on a collaboration album with L.A. Guns guitarist titled Medusa, which became his final studio recording before he took his last breath.
Jack later revealed through an Instagram post that he’d been suffering from Lewy body dementia, a condition where protein pileup in the brain hampers one’s movement, memory, and thinking.
As part of his last words, the vocalist talked about his final days, “I am unable to perform at the level I desire and at the level you deserve. Words cannot express my gratitude for the many years of memories, love and support.“
Fortunately, Jack could pen his autobiography, The True Tale of Mista Bone: A Rock+Roll Narrative, alongside author K.L. Doty, providing his fans a deep insight into his outshining lifestyle.
During his final moments, Jack passed away peacefully in the presence of his wife, Heather Ann Russell, son Matthew Hucko, and other close family members, leaving behind a legacy and net worth that significantly impacted the rock music scene.
