Fox News correspondent Gillian Turner stepped into the motherhood journey by welcoming her daughter, Lucia Rose Kramer, on July 17, 2021, with her husband, Alex Kramer.
Four months later, she shared a lengthy post on her Instagram stating that her daughter’s presence has helped her gain a new perspective in many ways.
Gillian mentioned that when she was initially granted four months of maternity leave, she panicked, thinking about how she would spend these months away from her job.
But after the arrival of her baby girl, everything seemed to have gone in a blink, which taught her to cherish the moment and value time. She wrote, “Looking back on this time I’ve spent with my baby girl, I’ve got a brand new perspective on time (& life & love).
Well, her daughter Lucia is almost three years old now. However, Gillian Turner never seems to get enough from the memory she had during her pregnancy period with her first child.

In December 2023, Gillian Turner discussed her professional background with the former White House Press Secretary, Dana Perino.
When Dana asked her about the most loved period of her working at Fox, Gillian Turner answered that it was when she was pregnant with her daughter during the pandemic.
Gillian said, “I’ve never felt so valued, so supported or celebrated as I did by bosses and colleagues during that time. It was very special.”
She also elaborated on how her colleagues encouraged her and how they became their emotional support throughout the period. Gillian also said many of them were not so close to her, but they still sent her several ‘thoughtful’ presents.
Even in her most vulnerable moments, they didn’t let her feel disappointed in herself as they never judged her.
