On Monday, May 20, 2024, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi lost his life in a tragic helicopter crash alongside the country’s foreign minister and several other officials.
Although the cause of the crash remains unknown, the President’s cabinet of Iran confirmed his untimely demise! They released a statement praising him as ‘hard-working and tireless’ and said, “[He] stood by his promise and sacrificed his life for the nation.”

After the saddening news broke, leaders from all over the globe sent condolences and prayed for Ebrahim Raisi and his family, which consisted of two kids and a wife, Jamileh Alamolhoda.
Furthermore, in addition to his work and contribution to his country, Ebrahim Raisi will be survived by his two daughters and wife, Jamileh.
Ebrahim Raisi married his wife, Jamileh Alamolhoda when she was 18 and had two successful daughters!
Jamileh Alamolhoda is the First Lady of Iran and the wife of the late President Ebrahim Raisi.
They married in 1983 when Jamileh was 18 while Ebrahim was 41 years old. She is the eldest daughter of Mashad’s Friday prayer imam, Ayatollah Ahmad Alamolhoda.
Ebrahim Raisi and his wife Jamileh welcomed two daughters together, but the kids’ identities remain private for security concerns.
