It was a known fact that Dr. Disrespect halted his streaming in 2017 because he was unfaithful to his wife, Mrs. Assassin, and repented for his actions towards his family. However, he finally opened up about the reason on June 26, 2024, on his Twitter.
The 6-foot 8-inch Twitch streamer wrote a lengthy text to clarify his Twitch ban, which occurred first in 2017 and then became permanent in 2020.
The timing also matched with the Midnight Society Game Studio terminating its contract with Dr. Disrespect based on claims of his past allegations; he had to come forward for clarification.
THE TWITCH BAN

Hello, I'd like to make a quick statement..
Lets cut the fucking bullshit, as you know there's no filter with me. I've always been up front and real with you guys on anything that I can be up front about, and I'm always willing to accept responsibility… which…
He explained that starting a conversation with a minor in 2017 was wrong, but it was all casual, and nothing illegal happened.
He immediately retracted from his actions, repenting toward his wife and family. Later, Dr. Disrespect settled the issue with Twitch, and no criminal charges were filed against him.
However, the story gained limelight in the wrong direction and time.
So, Dr. Disrespect came forward, showing his frustration towards social media, calling it a destruction zone as people commented he was a pedophile, which he finds very wrong as he did not commit any illegal activities with the minor.
Dr. Disrespect’s family includes his wife, Mrs Assassin, and a daughter who always supported him
The two-time champion, Dr. Disrespect, real name Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, is an American streamer born on March 10, 1982, in California, US.
He is a California State Polytechnic University, Pomona graduate who played on the NCAA Division II basketball team. Probably during his college years, he met his wife, Mrs. Assassin.
Hell of a season for the 49ers.

Dr Disrespect married his wife, Mrs. Assassin, almost 16 years ago, on June 10, 2008, although they have not revealed the exact dating timeline.
Mrs. Assassin prefers not to reveal personal details, so we do not know her real name. However, many believe that she is also a gamer who belongs to a mixed ethnicity, as she has Filipino roots.
She is her husband’s biggest fan and is often seen with Dr. Disrespect at various events; the first was at The Game Awards in 2017, the time when her husband had affair rumors.
However, Dr. Disrespect did not take much time to ask for forgiveness from his wife, as his words on YouTube streaming followed: “As you guys know, I have a beautiful family, a wife and kid. And I want to be transparent that I’ve been unfaithful.“
Dr Disrespect admitted to cheating on his wife in 2017 at Twitchcon, which also happens to be the same year he was privately messaging a minor.

I did some digging and found that the woman he cheated with was 24 at the time so it isn’t the same girl, but it still makes you… pic.twitter.com/M0NkNO8qZA
Thanks to Mrs. Assassin’s benevolence, she took the fact very wisely and stood by her husband’s side. The couple tried their best to be idol parents to their daughter, Alana, who you might know as Baby Assassin.
Even today, when the Midnight Society terminated their contract, Mrs. Assassin kept her support for her husband intact.
