Douglass’s story was first uploaded on TikTok, and the video amassed millions of views within ten hours of its upload. Gradually, the news made its way to other social media platforms, hyping people’s interest in the case.
Well, just a day before, Livonia Police released a statement saying that no such incident had occurred in Livonia, Michigan.

Further, as per Fox2Detriot reports, neither a man named Douglass Barnes as a resident resides in Michigan nor the school where the homicide allegedly took place exists.
With this, Douglass Barnes’ whole story, where he allegedly shot a teenage girl, Samantha, to avenge his son’s homicide, has turned out fake.
As a result, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that no such man as Douglass exists in reality.

A day ago, a YouTuber named OTRblogz uploaded a video sharing the details of Douglass Barnes’ case on his YouTube Channel, and beneath, in the comment section, many called the news fake.
One who was originally from Livonia claimed that no such incident ever occurred in Livonia, mentioning that she is from the same area.
Another commented, “Bruh, I don’t even think this is real. I tried looking for this story, and there’s no news article about it. Is this AI?”
Finally, the police recently confirmed that the whole Douglass Barnes story is fake. No man named Douglass Barnes exists in Livonia, Michigan.
