A series of funeral videos has sparked a conversation about Damian McKeith, a 16-year-old from Randfontein who lost his life in a tragic road accident.
Damian McKeith, born in 2001, was a learner at Laerskool Randfontein along with MC Prinsloo, both of whom lost their life in a car crash in the early hours of a Tuesday morning in 2017.

Further, the accident took place in 2017, but the videos of their funeral have been going around after a close family member uploaded them on TikTok.
According to the police, McKeith was in the car with Prinsloo, his mother Zurita, and brother Morne, who were on the way to support their older brother Franco’s rugby match in Naboomspruit.
However, before they could reach their destination, the car collided on the highway, and Prinsloo and McKeith sadly lost their lives.

After the medical team rushed to the scene, they confirmed that Zurita had sustained shoulder injuries and broken ribs, whereas Morne’s condition was critical.
Moreover, the tragic news reached the principal of Laerskool Randfontein, who sent a sympathetic message to McKeith and Princloo’s families. He mentioned that the staff members and other students will greatly miss the learners.

Since Pandfontein’s community learned about the deaths, they have been sending the affected families messages of encouragement on Facebook.
Likewise, Franco dedicated the following rugby matches to his brothers, who looked up to him for sports as well as life advice.
Despite winning the title, Franco revealed that the win felt bitter after the unfortunate loss of McKeith and Princloo.

As years passed by, the accident was forgotten by the community as well as netizens until the video of their funeral was uploaded by a family member.
