Bollywood actress Malaika Arora is devasted after her father, Anil Arora, aged 74, allegedly ended his life by jumping from the terrace of his home in Mumbai’s Bandra on September 11, 2024.
The news about Anil Arora’s tragic demise has left the Arora family, as well as the whole Bollywood industry, in shock. However, the reason behind his demise has not been revealed yet, and police have not found any last note from Anil Arora yet.

Panjab police have gone to the scene for the investigation, after which they will determine if the demise was intended, accidental, or forced. Moreover, sources confirmed they have already sent the body of body of Anil Arora for post-mortem examination.

Anil Arora spent over three decades away from his family after his divorce from his wife, Poyce Polycarp. He shared two children, Amrita Arora and Malaika Arora, with Poyce Polycarp.
After his separation from Poyce Polycarp, the children started living with their mother and moved out to Chembur.
Parents’ divorce was not easy for their children as after decades, Malaika describes her childhood, explaining, “I had a wonderful childhood, but it wasn’t easy. In fact, in retrospect, the word I would use to describe it is tumultuous. But tough times teach you important lessons, too.“
However, after three decades of their parent’s divorce, the family decides to reunite for unknown reasons and starts living a normal life again.

Further, even though the couple has been living together for the past two years, his sudden passing for an unknown reason has left people shattered.
Additionally, after reviewing various news sources regarding Anil Arora, Times Now reported that men over the age of 75 are more susceptible to suicidal thoughts.
This could explain why Anil Arora, who faced multiple past traumas, may have experienced similar thoughts; however, it is just speculation.
