Writer and co-host of the LABYRINTHS podcast Amanda Knox has once again come under the law after an Italian court convicted her of the slander charge for the 17-year-old case of Meredith Kercher.
In 2007, Amanda and her then-boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, were charged with the assassination of Meredith. But in March 2015, she was exonerated from the case.
After that, she did her best to reclaim her societal identity and live a normal life. While working toward establishing her career, she chose to start a family as well.
Amanda Knox then married novelist, poet, and author of War of the Encyclopaedist Christopher Robinson in 2020, and the two expanded their family, welcoming two kids: a daughter named Eureka Muse Knox-Robinson and a son, Echo.
Amanda and Christopher’s son, Echo, was born on September 23, 2023, and their daughter, in 2021.
Amanda Knox initially hid her daughter Eureka’s birth from the public as she was ‘worried about paparazzi bounty’
Amanda Knox and her husband, Christopher, remained silent about their parenthood journey for almost a month.
In October 2021, when Jessica Bennett from the New York Times reached out to her, she opened up about having a baby. Likewise, she also revealed the reason why she kept her daughter’s birth away from people’s knowledge.
As Amanda said, she feared that journalists would suddenly knock on her door, take the details, and spread the news with the headline “Foxy Knoxy’s path to motherhood.” In this regard, she further stated, “I’m still nervous about the paparazzi bounty on her head.”
Later, she also took her Instagram to express her worry for her newborn daughter, saying, “I cannot 100% protect my daughter from the kind of treatment I’ve suffered, but I’m doing the best I can.”
However, after a while, everything in her life appeared to have assembled in a correct space. The family of four was absolutely happy with their work, but after Italian courts charged Amanda with slander, everything turned upside down.
