British barrister Amal Clooney believes humanity is more significant than any religion

Amal Clooney, a notable attorney qualified to practice law in three countries—the United States, England, and Wales—has never made any controversial statements regarding any religion. She believes humanity is a greater religion one should follow.

Amal Clooney was born on February 3, 1978, to her parents: father, Ramzi Alamuddin, a Druze Lebanese, and mother, Baria Alamuddin, a Sunni Muslim. She is currently 46 years old.

By looking at her family’s religious background, Amal Clooney might follow the Muslim religion.

Moreover, she is of Arabic ethnicity and holds English and British nationality.

When Amal was two years old, her family moved to the UK to escape the Lebanese Civil War, and she became a permanent resident there.

She attended Dr Challoner’s High School there, and for her further studies, she joined St Hugh’s College, Oxford, from where she received a BA degree in Jurisprudence.

Further, she also lived in the US due to her education and earned an LLM degree from the New York University School of Law.

As she traveled to different places for her education, she got to experience various religions and their effects on people’s lives. Therefore, she respects all religions with equal respect.

In an interview with The Larry King Show (2006), Clooney clearly criticized his religious beliefs.

When asked about his religion, George said it’s a very tricky topic and confirmed, “I don’t have any specific.” However, he said he did not believe in “Heaven or even God,” and he confirmed obeying great religious morals.

Therefore, like his wife, he is also against racism.

The couple has also established the Clooney Foundation for Justice, which provides justice regardless of sex, age, and race. It provides support in over 40 countries.

Similalry, Amal has also made a statement regarding humanity and bindings.

She said, “Women, there is a bond that we all share. It’s not geography, religion, or culture. It’s a bond of shared experiences that only women go through and struggles that only women face.
