Alive Without Breath (Hyperrealistic Resin 3D Paintings of Sea Life) / Keng Lye

These aren’t photographs, these are crafty illusions and gorgeous, intricate work by an Asian artist. Using a similar technique devised by Riusuke Fukahori with Goldfish Salvation, Singapore-based artist Keng Lye has created these hyperrealistic three-dimensional paintings in resin, of aquatic animals, in the series, Alive Without Breath.

Patience, discipline, a careful hand and a keen eye are all at work here. Just beautiful still life.
