Although Julian Edelman has not married, which means he has no wife, he is currently dating Daiane Sodre, a Brazilian model.
But before Daiane, the former Patriot Julian reportedly dated pop star Shakira after her scandalous divorce.
While he has always been open to dating, Edelman says he needs his 7-year-old daughter’s approval before making anyone his wife.

He says, “When I go out and meet a fine young lady, I don’t get to just think about me, I’ve got to think about [Lily], so that one’s tricky.”
So, it is evident that Edelman prioritizes his daughter Lily before anyone else and is careful about bringing a stepmother into her life.

Although Ella Rose wasn’t Julian Edelman’s wife, they welcomed a baby daughter, Lily Rose, on November 30, 2016.
The couple had been in a casual relationship for two years, and it was just a mere fling when Ella got pregnant with Lily.
At first, the former NFL player denied being the father of his then-unborn baby.
However, Ella Rose filed for a paternity suit, which Julian contested initially. Later, the result revealed him as the father.
In November 2016, Julian took to his Instagram and finally acknowledged the newborn baby as his own. He captioned, “my biggest #wcw of all time, happy to welcome a new squirrel to the tree, my baby girl lily #proud”
Since then, the father-daughter relationship has been going strong. There’s no doubt Julian keeps his daughter before everything else.
According to People magazine, Julian revealed he would introduce his dates to his daughter only if she were special and stepmom material.
So, except for his high-profile dating, we might not see the wife or Julian Edelman getting married in the near future.
