by TeemunnyPublished on Tuesday, December 27, 2011
UK designers Heather and Ivan Morison and Sash Reading have created a 3D cubed kite. The kite is held together with 1,700 3D printed connectors that were engineered and manufactured by Queen & Crawford. The modular pieces are changeable and an ultra-lightweight composition of carbon fiber rods and cuben fiber aerospace fabric.
Who knew kites could be this cool, innovative and inspiring. The film was made by Jim and Tonic and The Observatory.
