Several reports announced on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, that Willa Bennett would succeed Jessica Giles as editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine and will also work as the top editor at Seventeen.

Furthemore, the 28-year-old Benett, as editor-in-chief, will oversee the publications and editorial direction on various digital, social media, and video mediums.

Bill began his career in the music industry in June 1996 as the president and general manager of Geffen and DGC Records. During his more than three-year tenure, he worked with several renowned artists, including Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, Tesla, and many more.

Furthermore, after leaving his job at Geffen Records, Bill became the president of Maverick Records in 1999 and held his position for more than two years before joining Warner Bros Records in Nashville in August 2004.

After serving as president and general manager at Warner Bros. for over five years, Bill Bennett became manager and business development at The Artists Organizations, where he worked for over three years.

With years of experience and knowledge in the music industry, Bill has been the owner and business developer at Style Counsel and WM Bennett since December 2014, where he develops music initiatives and strategic relationships.

Willa’s mother, Robyn Bennett, is a certified life purpose facilitator and life coach. After earning her master’s degree in spiritual psychology from the University of Santa Monica, Robyn has been working as a personal life and financial health coach since 2004.
