However, as per the media sources, Uncle Johnny and Elvis Duran did not share any family relationship. So, Uncle Johnny is certainly not Elvis Duran’s real Uncle.
In reality, Uncle Johnny is a name given to John Marino, 82, a senior citizen who lived a retired life.
Due to his senior age, everyone started lovingly calling him Uncle.
Elvis and his show’s cast members called him by the same name, and he also called everyone his nephew and niece.

However, after he passed away on Friday (3 May 2024), Elvis again remembered those old days with Uncle Johnny and got emotional while talking about him.
Even though Elvis Duran and Uncle Johnny were not related to each other by blood, their friendship was above any relationship. Elvis emotionally says even though he is no longer with them, his memories are immortal. He quoted, “Legends never die. He will linger forever.“
