Thalia Graves, an alleged victim of Sean “Diddy” Combs, accused him of intoxication, SA, filming the process and distributing the video for sale without her consent at age 25 in 2001 in her lawsuit filed this Tuesday.
As per the 26-page complaint lawsuit filed in New York Federal Court, Thalia Graves claims that in the summer of 2001, Diddy and his then-bodyguard Joseph “Big Joe” Sherman picked her up in his car to discuss her then-boyfriend’s employment at Bad Boy Records studio.
She claims that Diddy gave her a glass of wine in the car, which, upon drinking, she initially felt physically weak and later became unconscious.
After gaining consciousness, Graves found herself bound and restrained. Diddy and Big Joe then allegedly “proceeded to brutally se*ually abuse and violate her.”
Graves also claimed that Diddy and Big Joe violently beat and forcefully slammed her onto a table during the process. She states that she didn’t report the crime at that time because they had threatened to ruin her life, making her extremely terrified.
Graves learned in 2023 that a video of the alleged assault was circulated and possibly distributed as p*rnography, which might be one of the reasons for her filing the lawsuit.
Thalia Graves tearfully recounts the trauma inflicted on her by Diddy and Big Joe!
Thalia Graves, currently 48, and her attorney, Gloria Allred, held a press conference at the latter’s office this Tuesday. In the press conference, they announced the filing of the lawsuit against Diddy and Big Joe.
Graves tearfully vocalizes, “It’s a pain that reaches into your very core of who you are and leaving emotional scars that may never fully heal.“
“The trauma of the assault has taken a toll on my mental health. I’ve had PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I’m emotionally scarred.”
“It has been hard for me to trust others to form healthy relationships or even feel safe in my skin. Flashbacks, nightmares, and intrusive thoughts make me feel like it’s a constant struggle.” Graves states.
Apart from mental struggles, Graves also reveals that the assault has had an effect on her physical body. She’s having ongoing health problems and complications and suffering from chronic pain.
Graves wishes to continue on the journey towards recovery and healing. She says that she feels glad that Diddy is in jail right now, but that’s only a temporary relief.
