Businesswoman and member of the Shinawatra political family, Paetongtran Shinawatra, recently became Thailand’s youngest and 31st Prime Minister on Friday, August 16, 2024.
In all her business and political initiatives, Paetongtran Shinawatra’s husband, Pitaka Suksawat, has been helping to pursue her outstanding career at such a young age.
The couple was first introduced to each other by a mutual friend, Khanapoj Joemrith, Pitaka’s cousin and close friend of Paetongtarn Shinawatra. After dating for two years, the couple tied the knot on March 17, 2019.
Talking about Peatongtarn Shinawatra’s husband Pitaka’s personal life, he was born in the southern province of Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in Bangkok, Pitaka worked as a pilot with commercial airline before changing his career in real-estate business.
Likewise, Pitaka started his business career by becoming a vice president of investment at Rende Development Co. Ltd.Pitaka Suksawat is also a board member of the Thaicom Foundation which is directed by his wife Paetongtarn.
Currently, Pitaka holds the position of Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Rende Developement analysing several investment in various fields both in Thailand and overseas. He also works at Peak investment company limited.
Paetongtarn Shinawatra has two children with husband Pitaka Suksawat
Paetongtarn and her husband Pitaka are blessed with two adorable children. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter, Thitarn Suksawat on January 10, 2021 after two years of their marriage.
Morever, they gave birth to their second child, son Pruethasin Suksawat on May 1, 2023 two weeks prior the 2023 Thai general election where her party secured the second highest number of seats in the House of Representatives.
Peatongtarn often share the pictures of her two children and her husband through her social media stating them as her biggest blessing in her life.
The couple with their two children live a adventurous life travelling to different places. Recently on May 2024, Peatongtarn shared a picture of her family in London with a caption “Family photos don’t come easily😅😆 because every picture tells a story 💙❤️“
