The founder of 16 Handles Frozen Yoghurt, Solomon Choi, is no longer alive. He suddenly passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 44.
As People reports, Solomon was all set to participate in QSR Summit’s “The Future of Digital Transformation in the Fast Casual & QSR Industry” on June 11, but four days earlier, he bid the world his last goodbye.
As the passing news of Solomon Choi unexpectedly emerged in the media, many appeared to speculate if the cause of his demise was a heart attack, but his family members neither confirmed the speculation nor denied it. So, his last moments are still a mystery.
While the exact reason for his passing is yet to be revealed, Solomon revealed his health condition to his Insta family on January 4, writing, “Cheers to faith, family, and good health in 2024! 2023 included ups and downs with mental and physical health.”
In the caption, he also mentioned buying new houses and cars as well in 2023. But meanwhile, we cannot ignore his health status as just about five months later, he lost his life.

As per his Obituary, Solomon Choi’s parents, William WonJin Choi and Jennifer YunHwa Choi, his wife, Hannah Chang-Choi, and their two children, Jubilee and Joshua Choi, survived him.
The list also mentioned his sisters Erica Choi and Esther Choi, brother-in-laws George Kimmel and Brycen Fauser, and their children Tommy Kimmel, Noelle Kimmel, and Forest Fauser.
His family said he was ‘the world’s best husband and daddy’ and a passionate entrepreneur.
While departing one’s life, he has obviously left a legacy that will be remembered forever. Meanwhile, his family scheduled his burial service on June 15 at Pinelawn Cemetery.
