With the nepo baby claim spreading like wildfire, the rapper Saweetie came forward in X (formerly Twitter) to explain that the narrative is incorrect. Even if she had successful parents, as a proud, independent person, she never took their help.
Saweetie also shared about how she begged for donations for two days in front of the bank instead of getting help from her parents when she wanted to play sports during her senior year.

Not to leave out, she said that these claims are a slap to a girl who barely spent time with her parents in her childhood while she was taking four jobs to support herself after being broke.
Yet, this does not indicate Saweetie did not love her parents, especially her mother, Trinidad Valentin, who she said had sacrificed much for her.

Everyone knows that the rapper got her beauty and Asian roots from her Filipino-Chinese descent mother, Trinidad Valentin, who had Saweetie at 17.
Saweetie, real name Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, is a 31-year-old American rapper of mixed ethnicity because of her parents, African American father, Johnny Harper, and Asian mother, Trinidad Valentin.
She celebrates her birthday on July 2, being born in 1993. Saweetie is also an older sister to her twin siblings, Milan and Maya, who were born when she was 11.
