American economist and ex-Trump advisor Peter Navarro was released on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, after serving four months behind bars for refusing to testify before the J6 committee.

Hours after his release, Peter Navarro gave a strong speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Peter started the speech by saying, “Joe Biden and his department of Injustice put me there, I got a very simple message for you that they can come for me, they can come for Donald Trump careful they can come for you.

He further continued, “If we don’t control our government, their government will control us.

Likewise, Peter Navarro revealed about his long-term girlfriend, now fiance Bonnie, and continued his speech by saying, “I went to prison so you won’t have to,” while kissing her.

Navarro also said that Bonnie has been very supportive and has been his constant source of encouragement while he was behind bars.

Bonnie reveals about their plan to marry after the presidential election

In Steven Bannon’s War Room podcast that aired on July 12, 2024, Bonnie said she and Peter are a little quiet right now but are planning a wedding after the presidential campaign.

Bonnie stated, “We are excited to hold each other again. I feel like I have been in prison. I can’t call him or be with him, which is very hard.”

She added that although she was very sad months ago, she couldn’t stop smiling now. Bonnie also said that Peter is making a difference and will continue to do so.

Moreover, Bonnie recently wrote a tribute to Peter Navarro on his 75th birthday on July 15, stating, “I refuse to be sad on this day; that injustice has taken me away from Peter and I cannot celebrate his special birthday with him and for him.

She added, “As he rightfully says, if we do put our head downs, if i shed more tears on this day, then they win, so, let’s all find the joy in this day to make us even more positive.”

Before dating Bonnie, Peter Navarro was married to Leslie Lebon, a California architect. Peter and Leslie ended their marriage in December 2020.
