Following an episode of Pop Star Academy: Katseye, Naisha’s elimination sparked debate on the internet about whether it was justified.
Born in London, Naisha Dos Santos spent her childhood in Switzerland, Spain, Germany, and the Balearic Islands.
Before she joined Dream Academy, a survival show to select the Katseye members, she was already a respected dancer.
Naisha is now a dancer, choreographer, and artist signed under the agency SUPA Worldwide, currently based in Los Angeles and London.
In 2023, the hip-hop dancer was part of Beyonce’s crew for the Renaissance Tour alongside Amari, whom she hails as her dance mom.
She has also taken advantage of her social media platforms and has various endorsement deals from reputed brands such as Diesel, Levi’s London, Cernucci, and many more.
The internet reacts to Naisha Dos Santos‘ elimination from Katseye!
It is an undoubted fact that Naisha is an extremely talented dancer. However, she was eliminated from Dream Academy, making her ineligible to join the group Katseye formed by HYBE and Geffen.
In an episode of the docu-series Pop Star Academy: Katseye, the show revealed that Naisha shared a video of her singing an original, unreleased song on her private Instagram account.
This violated the NDA she and other trainees had signed, and Missy shared HYBE and Geffen’s decision to let her go from the program.
As the series gains popularity, Naisha’s elimination has been a much-discussed topic on the internet.
Further, a Twitter user says, “I thought her elimination was quite unfair tbh. All of the members had an ig and I kind of believe her with the followers thing.“
Although most people think Naisha’s elimination was unfair, another side also argues with it.
A Reddit thread states, “…i don’t really get why naisha thought that it was okay to post a video about the unreleased original song they had recorded + it seemed like she also had more people than just the girls she was training with…“
Despite the ongoing debate, Naisha seems focused on her career at the moment and is re-establishing herself in the entertainment industry.
