Kamala Harris’ niece, Meena Harris, a renowned American lawyer, author, and theatre producer, revealed that her husband left his powerful job at Facebook to focus on being a stay-at-home father to their two daughters.
In an interview in 2021, Meena Harris said that her husband, Nicolas Ajagu, decided to give up his job at Facebook in 2019 to be a stay-at-home father to their beautiful daughters, Amara, born in 2016, and Leela, born in 2018.
The 40-year-old lawyer also said that her husband, Nicolas, quit his job so that she could focus on writing her feminist children’s books and running her business. He has been her constant source of support.
Likewise, the couple first met in 2007 at Facebook, where Meena Harris was already a Community Operations Manager. She left her job in 2009.
Nicolas joined Facebook as the campaign manager of monetization in 2007. He held that role for one year before serving as the head of North American advertising operations from 2008 to 2011 and the head of Media Solutions America from 2011 to 2014.
Before quitting, Nicolas Ajagu worked with Facebook for over 12 years and was a global head of partnerships and Facebook advertising technology from 2014 to 2019.

Before joining Facebook in 2007, Nicolas Ajagu co-founded Ecosystem Ventures, a venture investment and consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was the company’s co-founder for three years, from 2005 to 2008.
Likewise, at the same time, Nicolas worked as the advisor of PlaySpan, a payments company that handles transactions for digital goods in online games, and Autonet Mobile, an automobile IP platform.
Nicolas Ajagu Co-founded Code and Canvas with Gi Fernando of Techlightenment, Jeff Miller of Pinterest, and John Yi of Facebook. The company focuses on art-related activities. Nicolas was the company’s co-founder for six years, from 2013 to 2019.
In addition, Nicolas was also the director and board member of K-TIG Limited, Nextpoint Financial Inc., and The New School of San Francisco. He founded Barrel and Ink in 2014.
However, after quitting his job, Nicolas Ajagu started dedicating his entire time raising his two beautiful daughters. Nicolas and Meena often share pictures of their children on social media.
According to reports, Meena said both her daughters are strong-willed, independent, and loving. She added that her older daughter Amara is more serious, loves books, and has a great sense of humor, whereas her younger daughter Leela is very playful and smiles constantly.
Meena Harris and her family also live an adventurous life, traveling to different places. On June 17, 2024, Meena Harris recently shared a picture of her adorable family on Instagram with the caption, “We’re headed to Fort Greene to show the girls where their dad used to live.“
