Ismael Mario Zambada García, aka Mayo Zambada, is one of the most wanted drug lords in Mexico, whose net worth is estimated to be over $15 billion in 2024.

Mayo Zambada has been in the drug-supplying business for decades. Throughout his long-running career, he co-founded one of the biggest international drug trafficking and money laundering organizations, Sinaloa Cartel, based in Sinaloa, Mexico.

The organization, also known as the Guzmán-Zambada Organization, the Federation, the Blood Alliance, and the Pacific Cartel, has been trafficking cocaine and heroin in various US cities, including Chicago.

It has become one of the most powerful and violent drug trafficking organizations in the world, and in 2016, Mayo Zambada got full command of the Sinaloa Cartel, making him an enduring and powerful drug lord in history.

The Mexican government has offered $15 Million to the public to get information about Mayo Zambada!

Even after supplying illegal substances around the world for decades, the government has failed several times to catch Mayo Zambada.

Further, Mayo Zambada was not alone in the business as his wife, sons, daughters, and in-law relatives; everyone had been supporting him and running their illegal organization as a family business.

Similarly, Mayo Zambada has been handling his business as the top leader and has become the most wanted criminal since 1998.

Therefore, the Mexican and US governments have offered cash prices to the public numerous times to obtain information regarding the Mayo Zambada.

Mexico’s attorney general’s office first put a $2.8 million USD reward on him and his five other leaders.

Similarly, in 2007, the American FBI featured Mayo Zambup as America’s Most Wanted and offered $5 million for information leading to his capture.

In 2011, sources claimed that Mayo Zambada had been traveling around Mexico doing business freely after having plastic surgery.

In 2016, US police arrested his business partner Joaquín El Chapo Guzmán, a Mexican former drug lord, in El Paso, Texas.

After his partner’s arrest, he got full command of the business and became more dangerous and powerful than ever.

Therefore, the government raised the reward price to USD 15 million and 300 million Mexican pesos. Till 2024, he was the only remaining fugitive on the list of Mexico’s 37 most-wanted drug lords.
