The news is devastating even to say aloud as the pain inflicted on John Hunt can not be comprehended as he lost almost his entire family on Tuesday, with only one child remaining alive out of three.
John Hunt found his wife, Carol Hunt, and two daughters, Louise and Hannah Hunt, attacked with crossbows on Tuesday evening after returning home from his broadcasting for BBC.
He alarmed cops and paramedics, but unfortunately, they pronounced the mother and two daughters, Hannah and Louise, no more at the scene.
Journalist John Hunt is known for devoting 20 years of his career to BBC Five Live as a racing commentator. But before that, he worked as a police officer.
According to him, his wife Carol found an advertisement for a trainee broadcaster in the Harrow Observer, which led him to his broadcasting career. He was thankful to her for her support in raising their children.
John Hunt had a very close-knit family consisting of three daughters, their cousins, and his wife’s siblings!
The 58-year-old journalist John Hunt had the perfect life with his wife Carol Hunt, 61, who are parents to three daughters: Hannah, Amy, and Louise Hunt.
They all resided in a £800,000 detached home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, where the unfortunate incident occurred.
Hannah Hunt was a 28-year-old beauty and skin therapist and owner of Hannah Grace Aesthetics, which she started on September 1, 2018.
She began her beauty career in 2012 by training at college for three years, initially working in local salons, and then embarking on a mobile beauty therapist journey.
Second to her is Amy Hunt, the only living child of John Hunt, a freelance lifestyle journalist and former editor at Woman&Home. She studied at the University of Birmingham from 2012 to 2015.
The youngest daughter, Louise Hunt, was a 25-year-old owner of Groom & Glow, a salon for professional dog grooming based in Bushey, Hertfordshire. She started the business in September 2020.
All of the daughters had a close bond with each other, their parents, and their mother’s siblings, Julie Greenwood and Mark Greenwood.
They often commented humorously on each other’s photos on Facebook, and their family also consisted of their daughter’s cousins from both sides.
No one ever thought the happy family would fall upon such a tragedy because of 26-year-old manslaughter, Kyle Clifford, who was captured by police on Wednesday, July 10, near a cemetery, injured.
May Carol Hunt’s gentle soul rest in peace, along with her daughters, Hannah and Louise Hunt. We at Superslice send our regards to the family.
