Frederick Nathaniel Richard, a young American artistic gymnast who recently won bronze for the U.S. in the Summer Olympics, does not appear to have a girlfriend.
20 years old Frederick won the all-around U.S. Olympic trials in June. He was named to the U.S. artistic gymnast team to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games along with teammates Malone, Asher Hong, Paul Juda, and Stephen Nedoroscik.
Frederick Richard and teammate Paul Juda helped the U.S. team win its first medal since the 2008 Olympic bronze in Beijing. The U.S. team’s bronze (257.793) came behind Japan’s silver (259.594) and China’s gold (259.062).
Furthermore, Richard is qualified for the all-around men’s gymnastic finals at the Paris Olympics, scheduled for Wednesday, July 31.
Prior to his Olympic debut, Richard had won several championships and medals, including three gold medals in the 2023 State College NCAA all-around, Parallel bars, and Horizontal bar, and a silver medal in the 2024 NCAA all-around Championships, representing the Michigan Wolverines.
Regarding his parents, Richard was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Carl Richard, a Haitian father, and Ann-Marie Laronde Richard, a Dominican mother.
His parents’ eyes were filled with joy and pride when they saw their son Frederik win the medal on Monday. His father, Carl, continuously shouted, “That’s my baby,” cheering and supporting Frederick.

Earning a Ph.D. in Pathology from Boston University School of Medicine and a Bachelor’s in science and biology degree from Suffolk University, Frederick’s mother, Ann-Marie, has over 13 years of Pharmaceutical drug research and discovery experience in the area of metabolic disease.
Ann-Marie holds the esteemed positions of Director, Patient Engagement Lead, and Principal Scientist at Pfizer, a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company located in New York.
Likewise, Richard’s mother is also a founder and president of the Dominican Health and Education Initiative, a charitable non-profit organization established in 2013 to focus on improving Dominica’s health and education standards.
Prior to that, Ann-Marie was a senior research scientist at Wyeth Vaccine Research, where she worked for more than two years. She was also an associate scientist in the Animal Science Department at Autoimmune Inc.
