However, on Sunday morning of 28 April 2024, the 20-year-old young student Erin Jones lost her life in a tragic incident that took place in Tucson, Arizona.
University’s President Robert Robbin pays sympathy to the parents of Erin Jones
Regarding the tragic loss, the 22nd president of the University of Arizona, Robert Robbin, released a long email on Sunday revealing the news about Erin Jones’ death off campus while she was waiting for an Uber.
In the letter, Robert pays tribute to Erin Jones and also pays deepest sympathies to her family and friends.
The president also revealed that the college has contacted the family and parents of Erin Jones and will be providing full support to Erin Jones’ family in this very difficult time in their lives.
As the students were terrified by the incident, the college decided to provide free counseling for the sake of their mental health.
However, the university did not reveal any private information or identification of Erin Jones’ father and mother to the public.
Erin Jones’ social media sites are also unavailable, making it challenging to find personal information about her life and the present situation of her family.
