But the CEO of Dude Wipes is aiming much higher as he predicts that the company will do $500 million in annual sales within the next five years and eventually join the $1 billion brand club.
Now, the Dude Wipes products are the top-selling flushable wipes on Amazon, surpassing brands like Charmin and Cottonelle.
Dude Wipes company indeed started from the bottom and is still making millions!
In 2011, Sean Riley, Ryan Meegan, and Jeff Klimkowski, childhood friends from the Chicago suburbs, came up with the Dude products, using fresh marketing ideas that differed from the conventional methods used by the existing leading toilet paper brands.
At first, they started small with a single travel packet of Dude Wipes and gradually introduced a variety of products that became popular over time, along with the demand, as per their official website.
Before going full-scale, they operated from their spare bedroom. In 2013, Dude Wipes’ sales were around $20,000, but they got a deal with Kroger, and by 2014, their sales spiked to $225,000.
Furthermore, in 2015, they appeared on Shark Tanks and even managed to negotiate a deal with Mark Cuban.
At the time, Dude Wipes had sales of around $250,000, and they asked for $300,000 for 10% equity. But eventually, with Mark Cuban, they sealed the deal for the same amount but for 25% equity.

After the reality TV show appearance, Dude Wipes sales saw a significant rise as they tripled in 2016 to the previous year and folded more to 2015 sales.
According to Entrepreneur magazine, Dude Wipes swiped over $120 million in sales in 2023 alone, while they generated $70 million in revenue in 2022.
With the aim of joining the billionaire brand club, the current net worth of Dude Wipes as of 2024 is estimated to be between $300 million and $500 million.
Now, they have signed deals with Target, Walmart, and Amazon; they are available in over 20,000 stores across the U.S.
Klimkowski, one of the founders of Dude Wipes, said in an interview, “Based on the new distribution alone, we’ll get to $500 million.”
