The surprise drop from the Canadian rapper and singer Drake came on August 24, 2024, as he posted three new songs on his second Instagram account. One of them had a Playboi Carti feature, giving fans hope for part 2 of Drake vs. Kendrick that took the internet by storm a month ago.
Moreover, Drake released the songs titled “No Face,“ “SOD,” and “Circadian Rhythm,” which are part of the artist’s 100 Gigs 2(2024) drop, as mentioned on his official website.
Taking a look at the lyrics, it seems that Drake has hidden some messages for the listeners with lyrics such as, “Rap game like my sleepin’ pattern ’cause how the f*ck I’m still up? Yeah, n-word don’t speak my language.“
Additionally, on “No Face,” Drake sang the verse, “O’ keep on sendin’ me slaps to go crazy on 40 keep sayin’ it’s time to be patient. It’s so many people we turnin’ the tables on. Capo got plans, but we’ll save that for later on. Hush’ll keep sayin’ they know that they played it wrong.“

Likewise, the rapper talks about throwing success for several years but having people who don’t address things to his face with the lyrics, “I’m just so happy that n-word who envied and held that shit in got to finally show it. I’m over the Moon, yeah, we’ll see you boys soon.“
Drake also mentioned talking about beef and business, which many theorized to be linked with the previous clash with Kendrick.
Along with the song release, Drake posted a story captioned “We will win Game 2,” which further pushed fans to talk about a possible part 2 to the Drake vs. Kendrick battle, as the former battle was named the biggest battle between any rappers in the industry.
Drake looks ready for a second round as he claims, ‘You got hot off me, I got plans for you soon!’
In his cryptic posts, Drake mentioned that he’s been preparing to release new diss tracks for the ongoing battle with Kendrick.
The feud between the artists goes back to when they started working together in 2011, collaborating on Drake’s “Buried Alive Interlude,” followed by Lamar’s album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City.
However, in 2013, Lamar dissed Drake and several artists on the song “Control,” later passing it off as a friendly competition. However, the tendencies remained as both parties talked about each other, and things finally escalated in 2024.
Likewise, Lamar ridiculed Drake and J. Cole in “Like That,” followed by Cole’s response in “7 Minute Drill.” However, Lamar later apologized for his behavior and deleted his release from all streaming platforms.

Soon, things took a turn when Drake released “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” to which Lamar replied with a surprise release, “Euphoria.”
The Canadian artist didn’t let Lamar off the hook easily as he responded with “Family Matters,” accusing his opponent of being an abuser. The series of quick responses continued as, twenty minutes later, Lamar released “Meet the Grahams,” accusing Drake of being a predator and the father of a secret child.
Likewise, Lamar then released “Not Like Us,” accusing Drake of being a pedophile, which put a massive hit on his reputation and career as fans claimed that the rapper wouldn’t be able to come back from such an allegation and named Lamar, the winner of the feud.
Currently, Drake seems to be plotting something big to drag Lamar, to which many users have satirically responded, “This like Jiriyah coming back to fight pain again.“
