Coming as a huge shock, the YouTuber Ben Potter, with over 3.5 million subscribers on his channels Comicstorian and Benny Has A Problem, is no more as he passed away on June 8, 2024, due to an accident per his wife, Nathalie Dejean Potter.
Nathalie posted on Ben’s YouTube channel community tab, his Twitter, and Instagram under the name Comicstorian, where he used to upload his stream and podcast.
Initially, it was difficult for fans to accept the news, as Ben’s last upload on Comicstorian channels was on June 8, 2024, the same day when he seemed to have met an accident.
Two days after the video, Ben’s wife, Nathalie Dejean Potter, issued the statement, so condolences flowed worldwide, praying for his family and wife.

Benny ‘Ben’ Porter, a 40-year-old YouTuber and podcaster, was born on May 18, 1984, to his parents’ mother, Michele Landry Potter, and father, Arthur Potter, in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
He grew up alongside his four siblings: sisters Sierra Potter, 36, Rachel, 37, and brothers Andy Potter, 38, and Daniel Potter, 34, youngest of all.
All of the Potter siblings are married, including Ben Potter, who met his wife Nathalie Dejean around March 2009, as per the first post by Ben’s mother on her Facebook.
Nathalie Dejean Potter, born August 3, 1988, is 35 years old streamer and content creator who has experienced all the ups and downs in her life along with the YouTuber.
She runs her own channel, Yorcia, which has been registered since October 1, 2011, but she started uploading in August 2014.
Nathalie was also present when Ben started his first channel, Eligible Monster Gaming Lore, on May 27, 2012, and started uploading in September 2012.
Meanwhile, at present, she is fighting an autoimmune disorder called Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA).
She posts updates on her community tab regularly about her health condition and mentions that she will take infusions every 6 months for 2 years to keep her disease in remission from May 2024.
However, the recent unfortunate news was a huge setback for the family and might affect Ben’s wife’s health.
She mentioned in the statement that Ben was her world, and she needed time to be with family and friends to grieve while asking to respect her privacy.
