On 13th September 2024, police discovered the body of a woman in a storm drain next to the Wa’ahila Faculty Housing on Dole Street.
Four days later, authorities released the identity of the woman, and it was Christina Baca.
Baca had reportedly received 10 police citations for camping on the sidewalk, sleeping in the park, or trespassing. She didn’t have a permanent address.
Considering the information mentioned above, Christina Baca might have been single with no husband.
Baca was found unresponsive in the drain, and it was in a state of decomposition. Later, an autopsy revealed many gunshot wounds, leading HPD to believe it to be a homicide case.
Her information hasn’t been revealed, but her Facebook page has provided insights into her personal life.

She didn’t appear to be active on Facebook, as she had only three photos. Her latest post was in April 2019.
In the said post, she shared her photo and covered half of her face with the anti-Nazi symbol.
Other than that, nothing hinted at the husband or family of Christina Becca.
Furthermore, in February 2019, she had shared a selfie. In the photo’s background, she had a few posters posted on the wall along with some photos.
Moreover, one of the posters was a certificate of Recognition in the name of Edward Henry Baca.
Baca seemed to prefer to live a low-key life. With her demise due to a firearm incident, HPD is investigating her death as a murder and is asking for witnesses to come forward.
