Cedric Ranzy and Jessica Gibbs had been through thick and thin for several years before Ranzy found out that his partner had been cheating on him. Soon, he went on Snapchat to reveal a shocking detail about their relationship as Ranzy battled with HIV.
On August 12, 2024, Jessica Gibbs posted a carousel of pictures on Facebook alongside her husband, Cedric Ranzy, showcasing their relationship’s nature.
Moreover, Gibbs captioned the post, “We have been through hell and hot water (BOY DO WE HAVE A STORY TO TELL), and yet we are still standing… BEAUTY & THE BEAST.“
After such a post, many were curious to find out what she was referring to in the caption, but Ranzy came forward with their situation while talking about being heartbroken.

In a Snapchat clip, Ranzy revealed that he had Human Immuno-Deficiency Virus (HIV) and displayed his private parts, which were affected by the disease, blaming Gibbs for ruining his life as the condition is incurable.
As the video proceeded, he implied that Gibbs also had the condition, warning those messing with her about the dangers of the disease.
While the clip reached far corners of the internet, one of the Facebook users expressed her concern for the couple, “Awareness post be safe out here. Cedric Ranzey & Jessica Gibbs Really got me sick to my stomach just when I thought I wanted to not be celibate anymore. Now I’m a continue keep it to myself‼️“
According to Ranzy, Jessica Gibbs often initiated sexual activities despite knowing about his condition!
After getting exposed, Gibbs deleted her recent posts, but many quickly found pictures of her children with Ranzy and have flooded the comment section with several questions.
As HIV has a 25 to 30% chance of transmitting from an infected mother to their offspring, people commented on her babies’ well-being, as one wrote, “I just pray you don’t kiss on them babies let them have a life.“
Since its initial upload, Ranzy’s video has gained thousands of views on Facebook and Twitter. People have responded with varied responses, mainly of worry, disgust, and sarcasm.
Due to Ranzy’s video’s explicit nature, Twitter has deleted it several times. Still, other users have reuploaded it in hopes of raising awareness about the condition and its consequences.
However, it has done more damage than good, as many have questioned how Gibbs and Ranzy stayed together for several years in such conditions while its severity was visible.
Meanwhile, the entire situation has sparked a conversation about people with HIV, as people in Mobile, Alabama, have urged one another to stay safe in the area as people like Gibbs and Ranzy have little to no care about the health of others.
