On Wednesday, Fox News commentator Brian Kilmeade commented on Kamala Harris’ recent step to skip Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to attend the historically Black sorority Zeta Phi Beta in Indianapolis.
Meanwhile, he reportedly said, “She would rather address, in the summer, a sorority — a [colored] sorority — like she can’t get out of that.”
Soon after, media people pinpointed the phrase ‘colored sorority,’ and it swirled over the internet like a fire, making people call Brian Kilmeade a racist.

On July 24, 2024, a Twitter page of Bad Fox Graphics tweeted, “Fox News Alert:@foxandfriends Goes Full Racist….BRIAN: She will not show up for the Prime Minister’s joint session of Congress…She’d rather address in the summer a sorority, a COLORED sorority.”
Also, Brian’s colleague Lawrence Jones III, who was with Brian at the time, also faced criticism for silently listening to the phrase ‘Colored Sorority’ despite being a black man. The criticism emerged like a flood, but in the meantime, everything appears to be exaggerated.
No! Brian Kilmeade didn’t say ‘colored sorority’ but ‘college sorority,’ Lawrence Jones III stressed
Referring to a democrats Jaime Harrison’s tweet, Lawrence Jones III retweeted on July 24, writing, “I’m the black man. You’re so damn dishonest. He said ‘college‘.”
Further, Lawrence blamed Jiame for stretching the issue in a nonsense way, stating that he brought destruction to the black community and also invited him to the show for a debate regarding the case.
Moreover, Brian Kilmeade himself also hit back at the people who are calling him a racist in the Kamala Harris case. He stated that he didn’t say ‘Colored Sorority’ but ‘College Sorority’ to address the historically Black sorority Zeta Phi Beta.
Meanwhile, media people seemingly have realized that they misquoted Brian’s words.
Recently, NBC analyst Claire McCaskill apologized on Twitter, tweeting, “Apologies if he said college. Hard to tell…and probably thought the other because of Rep ‘DEI’ messaging.” Well, things appear to have sorted out for the present time. But let’s see what happens next.
