Arshad Nadeem, the first Pakistani to qualify for the final of any track and field event at the Olympic Games, has amassed a significant net worth from his athletic career over the past nine years.
Starting his career in the javelin throw events in 2015, Nadeem received a scholarship from World Athletics, which made him eligible to train in Mauritius.
In 2022, the Pakistani player created a new national and Commonwealth Game record, becoming the first South Asian athlete to break the 90m mark.

Adding to his achievements, Nadeem has won several bronze, silver, and gold medals in events such as the South Asian Games, the Asian Games, the Islamic Solidarity Games, and the World Championships.
His fortune also comes after the 2024 Summer Olympics, where Nadeem made history, becoming the first Pakistani to win an individual Olympic gold medal in the men’s javelin.
With his talent, hard work, and dedication to the sport, it is no surprise that Arshad Nadeem has amassed an estimated net worth of around $2 million.
Villagers pooled money so Nadeem could travel to cities for training and events in his early days!
Nadeem’s historic win didn’t come easy. He underwent training in his own house’s courtyard, having never received any financial help from the Government of Pakistan, even after qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics.
However, the lack of support never faltered Nadeem’s goals, as he worked hard to break his personal records at several championships. As the only Pakistani athlete at the 2019 World Championships, the javelin thrower achieved a new personal best and national record of 81.52m despite struggling with a recent back injury.
Congratulations to Pakistan's Olympic flag bearer Arshad Nadeem for an absolute brilliant javelin performance winning a gold medal for Pakistan.

Moreover, the back injury led to a series of health issues, as Nadeem required knee surgery in 2023, but he recovered quickly for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Once again, Nadeem had to appeal for a new javelin for training, and Neeraj Chopra, through his huge social media following, helped the cause by preparing the athlete for the international stage.
Further, Nadeem didn’t let the immense support go in vain. He set a new Olympic record of 92.97 meters, receiving positive outpourings from supporters all around the world.
Among many, Pakistani lawyer Jibran Nasir showed his respect by saying, “It is your achievement, your hard work, your win. You owe Pakistan nothing, but Pakistan owes you a lot.”
