While Ayanna Patterson believes Lisa Miller is her missing daughter Alexis Patterson, who disappeared without trace 21 years ago, a new face has emerged online claiming to be Alexis.
A TikTok user, @Te-Erika, reported that a woman claimed to be long-lost 7-years-old Alexis Patterson and pointed out how similar they looked.
Although some netizens think they have similar traits and could be her, many pointed out that women could be faking it, saying they don’t look alike.

Having that said, Alexis’ mother, Ayanna, firmly believes that her daughter is Lisa Miller, who came to light in 2016 after a man named Joshua Miller, from Bryan, Ohio, reported to Police.
He said his ex-wife, Lisa Miller, might be missing Alexis Patterson, given that they shared strikingly similar looks and that Lisa’s past stories did not add up.
Ayanna believes they rigged the DNA test after the results did not match between Lisa Miller and Alexis Patterson!
On May 3, 2002, 7-year-old Alexis Patterson and her stepfather, LaRon Bourgeois, walked to her school at Hi-Mount Community School in Milwaukee. However, she did not return home that day and went missing since then.
Several investigations and search efforts were made, but not a single clue came forward that would lead to her.
While everyone slowly forgot about Alexis and her missing case collected dust with no evidence, her mother, Ayanna, never lost hope and believed her daughter was still alive. Eventually, in 2016, Lisa Miller’s name came forward, potentially being the missing Alexis Patterson.

Some of the striking similarities between Alexis Patterson and Lisa Miller were a bump on the left pinky finger, a scar under the right eye, a matching birthmark, and uncanny facial similarities. Given such a similar resemblance, Ayanna was certain Lisa Miller was her daughter Alexis.
After that, Milwaukee Police ran a DNA test, but the results did not favor what Ayanna believed, as their DNA did not match.
Later in an interview, Ayanna mentioned that the officials did not use her own DNA but instead used a supposed old toothbrush of Alexis, which cannot be confirmed as hers. She clarified that the toothbrush was given to them in 2002, at the time of Alexis’ disappearance.
Regardless of the results, Ayanna strongly felt a connection with Lisa Miller and believed she, indeed is her daughter, Alexis Patterson. Meanwhile, Lisa denied that she was Alexis Patterson.
Furthermore, another report from Justin Welch suggested the homicide of Alexis Patterson by his prisoner inmate. Now, the recent appearance of a woman claiming to be Alexis has only made the missing case more complex.
