Steve Klauke, the beloved voice of Bees and Weber State athletics, recently passed away at the age of 69 due to a tragic car accident, leaving his wife and family members shattered.
Steve Klauke was a great sportscaster and a devoted husband to his wife, Sue Klauke.
The couple had been together for over 47 years and lived a happy and peaceful life, celebrating holidays and birthdays together. Even though Steve had a busy schedule, he didn’t miss the chance to spend good times with his family.
Moreover, Steve often shared posts on his social media platforms describing how he appreciated his wife, who has been his constant source of support through all his good and bad days and who has taken care of the “fatherly” duties while he was not home.

Steve and Sue Klauke raised and supported their children, Adam and Lisa Klauke, to become successful people with an outstanding career.
Their son Adam Klauke is the Equipment Manager at the Utah Jazz, an American professional basketball team based in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. He joined the team in July 2015 and has worked for over 9 years.
Moreover, the National Basketball Athletic Equipment Managers Association named Adam the 2020-21 David “DH” Nordstrom Equipment Manager of the Year, the award given for outstanding achievement and professionalism that goes above and beyond on and off the basketball court.
Adam Klauke also has a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and education from the University of Utah.
Talking about Steve and Sue’s daughter, Lisa Klauke, is a Senior AR Analyst at CHG Healthcare. She began her career at CHG Healthcare as a Senior Client Account Specialist in June 2016.
Later, Lisa was promoted to the position of Senior AR analyst in October 2019.
Prior to her job at CHG, she worked as a case fulfillment Analyst at the Medical Review Institute of America, LLC. In 2013, she graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences.
Both their children made Steve and his wife proud of their achievements; Steve proudly shared his children’s achievements through Facebook.
Although Steve’s family won’t be able to share their upcoming events with him, he will always be remembered by them.
